Most universities begin accepting applications in late July, following publication of final school examination results. However the process behind it for students often begins long before, you need to do your research properly, ensure you have chosen the correct course, have your VISA sorted out, have financing ready etc. It is a major decision but we are here to make it much easier

For students applying through the Albanian national admissions system, the main application window is typically late July to early August, followed by second and third rounds in September and October if places remain. This is not necessarily the same for all Universities but a general rule of thumb.

They vary between courses and institutions. On the whole though, typically you need to be able to demonstrate at least a B1 level of English Reading and Writing. We provide advice and support in this area as well.

The vast majority of Higher Education Institutions are located in the capital city; Tirana. While there are Universities in other cities, these are largely Public Universities with courses completed in Albanian.
