For the purposes of this Legal Pack, “The Huntbridge Consultancy”, “Huntbridge”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Andrew Jacques Carr Hunter, trading as The Huntbridge Consultancy.

PART I — GENERAL DISCLAIMER
1. Nature of The Huntbridge Consultancy
The Huntbridge Consultancy is an independent education consultancy and student recruitment business providing services including educational consultancy, academic guidance, student recruitment, application support, institutional introductions, educational referrals and related services.
The Huntbridge Consultancy is not itself a school, university, college, examination board, qualification-awarding body, professional regulator, immigration authority, government body or law firm.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, references on our website, social-media channels, marketing materials or communications to any school, university, college, educational institution, examination body, professional regulator, government authority, business or organisation do not imply that The Huntbridge Consultancy is owned, operated, endorsed by or formally affiliated with that organisation.
Where The Huntbridge Consultancy has entered into a formal recruitment, agency, partnership, referral or other commercial agreement with an organisation, we may identify that relationship.
2. Educational Advice
The Huntbridge Consultancy provides information, guidance and support intended to help students and families make informed educational decisions.
Advice may take account of factors including academic history, qualifications, predicted grades, career aspirations, personal preferences, financial considerations, preferred location and other information supplied by the client.
Educational advice necessarily involves professional judgement and cannot guarantee that a particular educational institution, programme, course or pathway will be suitable for every individual.
Responsibility for the final decision to apply to, accept an offer from or enrol with any educational institution remains with the student and, where relevant, their parent or legal guardian.
3. No Guarantee of Admission or Outcome
The Huntbridge Consultancy does not guarantee:
admission to any school, university, college or educational institution;
receipt of an offer;
receipt of an unconditional offer;
acceptance onto any specific programme;
success in an entrance examination, assessment or interview;
the award of a scholarship, bursary or financial assistance;
the availability of a place on a course;
the granting of a visa or residence permit;
recognition of a qualification;
professional registration or licensing;
graduate employment; or
any particular academic, professional or career outcome.
Admissions and enrolment decisions remain entirely within the discretion of the relevant educational institution.
4. Accuracy of Information
The Huntbridge Consultancy takes reasonable steps to ensure that information provided to clients is accurate and current at the time it is supplied.
However, educational institutions, governments, regulators and other organisations may amend:
tuition fees;
entry requirements;
academic programmes;
application procedures;
deadlines;
visa requirements;
scholarship schemes;
professional-registration rules; and
other policies
without notice.
Clients should therefore confirm important requirements directly with the relevant institution or authority before making significant financial, educational, immigration or relocation decisions.
Where current official information provided by an institution or authority conflicts with information previously provided by The Huntbridge Consultancy, the institution or authority’s current information should generally be treated as authoritative.
5. Qualification Recognition
Recognition of academic qualifications varies between jurisdictions, employers, universities and professional bodies.
The fact that an institution or programme is legally recognised, licensed or accredited in the country in which it operates does not necessarily mean that every qualification it awards will automatically be accepted for every purpose in another country.
Students intending to use a qualification for postgraduate study, professional practice, immigration, employment or another regulated purpose should investigate the relevant recognition requirements before enrolling.
6. Regulated Professions
Particular care is required where a student intends ultimately to enter a regulated profession.
Examples include:
medicine;
dentistry;
nursing;
pharmacy;
veterinary medicine;
psychology;
law;
architecture;
teaching; and
other professions requiring statutory registration, licensing or approval.
Completion of an academic programme does not necessarily confer an automatic right to practise that profession in Albania, the United Kingdom, the European Union or any other jurisdiction.
Prospective students should verify current requirements directly with the relevant regulator in the country in which they expect to practise.
The Huntbridge Consultancy may assist clients in locating relevant information but does not itself determine whether a qualification will confer eligibility for professional registration.
7. Visa, Residence and Immigration Information
The Huntbridge Consultancy may provide general information or practical assistance relating to visas, residence permits and immigration procedures where these are relevant to education or relocation.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, such assistance is administrative and informational and does not constitute legal advice or regulated immigration advice.
Visa, residence-permit and immigration decisions are made by the relevant governmental authorities.
The Huntbridge Consultancy cannot guarantee the success of any visa, residence or immigration application.
Where specialist advice is required, clients should consult an appropriately qualified immigration adviser or legal professional.
8. Legal, Tax, Financial and Property Matters
Any information provided by The Huntbridge Consultancy concerning legal, taxation, banking, accounting, insurance, property, investment or financial matters is general information only unless expressly stated otherwise.
The Huntbridge Consultancy does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment or regulated financial advice.
Clients should seek independent specialist advice where appropriate.
9. Recruitment Relationships and Commission
The Huntbridge Consultancy may enter into recruitment, agency, referral or partnership agreements with universities, schools, colleges and other educational providers.
Under such arrangements, The Huntbridge Consultancy may receive a commission, recruitment fee, referral fee or other payment when a student applies, enrols, pays tuition fees or otherwise engages with an institution through The Huntbridge Consultancy.
Such payments will not necessarily result in an additional charge being made to the student.
Clients acknowledge that The Huntbridge Consultancy may therefore have a commercial relationship with, and financial interest in successful recruitment to, certain institutions.
The existence of a commercial relationship does not mean that every institution discussed or recommended by The Huntbridge Consultancy is a commercial partner.
Where material to a recommendation or decision, we will seek to be transparent about relevant commercial relationships.
10. Third-Party Referrals
The Huntbridge Consultancy may introduce or refer clients to independent third parties, including:
educational institutions;
tutors;
accommodation providers;
relocation businesses;
lawyers;
immigration professionals;
accountants;
translators;
insurance providers;
recruitment businesses; and
other professional or commercial service providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these organisations are independent from The Huntbridge Consultancy.
Where a client enters into a separate contract directly with a third party, responsibility for supplying the service rests with that third party.
The Huntbridge Consultancy does not guarantee the performance, suitability or continued availability of an independent provider.
Clients should satisfy themselves regarding the terms and suitability of any provider before entering into an agreement.
Nothing in this provision excludes any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Website and Published Content
Content published by The Huntbridge Consultancy on its website, blogs, guides, newsletters, social-media channels or other general publications is intended for general information only.
It should not be treated as personalised educational, legal, immigration, financial or professional advice.
We make reasonable efforts to keep such information accurate and up to date but cannot guarantee that every publication will at all times be complete, accurate or current.
12. External Links
Our website or communications may contain links to websites operated by third parties.
Such links are provided for information or convenience.
The Huntbridge Consultancy does not control third-party websites and accepts no responsibility for their content, security, accessibility, availability or privacy practices, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
The inclusion of a link does not by itself constitute an endorsement.
PART II — TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Application of These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern paid and unpaid services provided by The Huntbridge Consultancy to clients where applicable.
By commissioning, purchasing or using a service from The Huntbridge Consultancy, the client agrees to these Terms together with any relevant:
service description;
quotation;
invoice;
proposal;
engagement letter;
application-support agreement; or
other written agreement.
Where a specific written agreement expressly conflicts with these Terms, the specific agreement will take precedence in relation to that service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any consumer right which cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
2. Formation of Contract
A contract may arise when:
a client accepts a written proposal or quotation;
a client purchases a stated service;
payment is made for a service;
the parties expressly agree in writing that services should commence; or
another legally binding agreement is formed.
The precise scope of the service will be determined by what has been agreed between The Huntbridge Consultancy and the client.
3. Clients Under 18
Where the prospective student is under 18, the contracting client will normally be the student’s parent or legal guardian.
The parent or guardian confirms that they have authority to instruct The Huntbridge Consultancy regarding the student’s education.
Where reasonably necessary for delivery of the service, The Huntbridge Consultancy may communicate directly with the student, subject to appropriate safeguarding, consent and data-protection requirements.
4. Services
Services may include:
educational consultations;
academic guidance;
school selection;
university selection;
course selection;
admissions guidance;
student recruitment;
application planning;
application support;
document-preparation guidance;
interview preparation;
personal-statement guidance;
educational transition support;
international-study guidance;
career and academic guidance;
introductions to institutions;
referrals to third-party providers;
relocation-related education support;
workshops and seminars; and
other agreed educational consultancy services.
The exact service being purchased will be identified separately where appropriate.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
a. provide accurate, complete and truthful information;
b. disclose information reasonably relevant to the services requested;
c. provide required documents within reasonable timescales;
d. check important application details before submission where given the opportunity to do so;
e. comply with application and institutional deadlines;
f. inform The Huntbridge Consultancy promptly of material changes;
g. disclose accurate information concerning qualifications, grades, nationality and other relevant application matters;
h. cooperate reasonably in the delivery of the service; and
i. comply with applicable law and institutional rules.
The Huntbridge Consultancy will not be responsible for adverse consequences arising from materially inaccurate, misleading, incomplete or late information supplied by the client.
6. Academic Integrity and Authenticity
The Huntbridge Consultancy supports legitimate educational applications and academic integrity.
We will not knowingly:
falsify qualifications;
alter academic records dishonestly;
fabricate references;
produce fraudulent supporting documents;
impersonate an applicant;
misrepresent an applicant’s identity;
submit information known to be false; or
knowingly facilitate admissions or academic fraud.
Clients remain responsible for ensuring that information submitted in their name is truthful.
The Huntbridge Consultancy reserves the right to suspend or terminate services where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, serious dishonesty or unlawful conduct.
7. Applications
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the client remains responsible for final approval of applications submitted in their name.
The client should review important information before submission wherever reasonably possible.
The Huntbridge Consultancy is not responsible for a decision made by an institution once an application has been submitted.
8. Client Decisions
The client retains ultimate responsibility for decisions including:
which institution to apply to;
which programme to select;
whether to submit an application;
whether to accept an offer;
whether to enrol;
payment of tuition fees;
accommodation choices;
travel arrangements;
visa applications;
relocation; and
professional-registration decisions.
Advice supplied by The Huntbridge Consultancy is advisory in nature.
9. Fees
Any fee payable directly to The Huntbridge Consultancy will be disclosed to the client before the client becomes liable to pay it.
Unless expressly included, Huntbridge fees do not include:
university or school application fees;
tuition fees;
examination fees;
visa or government charges;
translation fees;
notarisation fees;
credential-recognition fees;
accommodation costs;
travel expenses;
insurance;
professional-regulator charges; or
fees payable directly to third-party providers.
Taxes will be handled in accordance with applicable Albanian law.
10. Payment
Payment terms will be specified in the relevant invoice, proposal or service agreement.
The Huntbridge Consultancy may require full or partial payment before commencing work.
Where payment is overdue, The Huntbridge Consultancy may suspend further work until payment is received, subject to applicable consumer law.
11. Student Recruitment Services
Where The Huntbridge Consultancy acts as a recruitment representative or intermediary for an educational institution, the institution may pay The Huntbridge Consultancy directly.
The student may therefore receive recruitment or application assistance without paying a separate Huntbridge recruitment fee.
This does not prevent The Huntbridge Consultancy from charging the same client for a distinct consultancy service where that separate service and fee have been clearly agreed.
12. Referral Fees
The Huntbridge Consultancy may receive referral fees or other commercial benefits from third-party providers.
Where the existence of a referral arrangement is material to a client’s purchasing decision, The Huntbridge Consultancy will seek to disclose that relationship appropriately.
13. Cancellation and Withdrawal Rights
Clients purchasing services remotely, online, by telephone or otherwise away from Huntbridge’s business premises may have statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights under applicable consumer-protection law.
Nothing in these Terms removes any such mandatory right.
Where the client expressly asks The Huntbridge Consultancy to begin supplying services before the expiry of any applicable statutory withdrawal period, the client may, where permitted by law, be required to pay a proportionate amount for work performed before cancellation.
Where the service has been fully performed following a client’s express request for early performance and any legally required acknowledgement, the client’s statutory withdrawal right may be affected to the extent permitted by law.
Any service-specific cancellation provisions will be communicated before purchase.
14. Refunds
Whether a refund is due will depend upon:
the nature of the service;
the amount of work already performed;
any statutory cancellation right;
any service-specific agreement;
whether work was commenced at the client’s request; and
the circumstances in which termination occurs.
A client is not automatically entitled to a refund solely because:
an application is unsuccessful;
an institution declines admission;
a scholarship is not awarded;
a visa is refused;
a qualification does not later lead to a desired employment outcome; or
the client changes their mind after services have been properly supplied.
This provision does not restrict any refund or remedy required by law.
15. Confidentiality
The Huntbridge Consultancy will take reasonable steps to protect confidential information supplied by clients.
Confidential information may be disclosed where:
disclosure has been authorised by the client;
disclosure is necessary to provide the agreed service;
information must be provided to an institution to progress an application;
disclosure is required by law;
disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights; or
another lawful basis applies.
Personal information is also subject to the Privacy Policy below.
16. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed, copyright and other intellectual-property rights in original Huntbridge materials remain with The Huntbridge Consultancy.
This may include:
guides;
reports;
templates;
written resources;
training material;
website content;
branding;
presentation material; and
other original content.
Clients may use materials supplied specifically to them for their own personal or educational purposes.
They may not commercially reproduce, redistribute, publish or resell proprietary Huntbridge material without permission.
17. Communications
The Huntbridge Consultancy may communicate with clients through email, telephone calls, video calls, messaging services, social media or other agreed channels.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that contact details supplied to Huntbridge remain current.
18. Limitation of Liability
The Huntbridge Consultancy will provide services with reasonable care and skill.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Huntbridge Consultancy will not be liable for losses resulting solely from:
admissions decisions made by independent institutions;
visa or immigration decisions;
decisions of professional regulators;
changes in law or government policy;
changes in institutional entry requirements;
the client supplying inaccurate or incomplete information;
deadlines missed due to client delay;
actions or omissions of independent third parties;
events outside Huntbridge’s reasonable control; or
a client knowingly acting contrary to advice provided.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability arising from fraud, deliberate misconduct or mandatory consumer protections.
19. Indirect Losses
Subject to applicable consumer law, The Huntbridge Consultancy will not ordinarily be responsible for indirect or consequential losses which were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.
Nothing in this clause removes a right or remedy which cannot legally be excluded.
20. Force Majeure
The Huntbridge Consultancy will not be liable for a failure or delay caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Examples may include:
natural disasters;
war;
civil disorder;
governmental action;
strikes;
major telecommunications failure;
major cyber incidents;
closure of educational institutions;
public-health emergencies; and
comparable exceptional circumstances.
21. Termination
Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement in accordance with any specific service agreement and applicable law.
The Huntbridge Consultancy may suspend or terminate a service where the client:
materially fails to pay an agreed fee;
supplies materially false information;
requests fraudulent or unlawful assistance;
seriously threatens or abuses Huntbridge representatives;
materially breaches these Terms; or
otherwise makes continued provision of the service unlawful or unreasonable.
Termination does not extinguish rights or obligations which accrued before termination.
22. Governing Law
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the contractual relationship between The Huntbridge Consultancy and the client shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania.
The competent courts of the Republic of Albania shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring or defend proceedings elsewhere.

4. Special Categories and Sensitive Data
Educational consultancy can occasionally involve sensitive or special-category information.
For example, information concerning health may sometimes become relevant to accommodation, educational support or university applications.
Albania’s supervisory authority confirms that health information is treated as a special category of personal information under Law No. 124/2024. (idp.al)
The Huntbridge Consultancy will seek to avoid collecting sensitive data unnecessarily and will process it only where there is an appropriate lawful basis and where the processing is necessary and proportionate.

processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation;
processing is necessary for legitimate interests, where those interests are not overridden by individual rights;

7. Personal Data Concerning Children
Many educational services concern children and young people.
Where a prospective student is under 18, we will normally work with or obtain instructions from a parent or legal guardian.
Information concerning children will be handled with particular care.

9. Sale of Personal Data
The Huntbridge Consultancy does not sell personal data as a standalone commercial database.
Student information supplied for recruitment purposes may, however, be shared with institutions or authorised partners where necessary to provide a requested recruitment or application service.
10. International Data Transfers
Education consultancy and international student recruitment frequently require information to be transferred between countries.
Personal information may therefore be transferred to educational institutions, professional providers or service providers located outside Albania.
Where such transfers occur, The Huntbridge Consultancy will take reasonable measures required by applicable law to protect personal information and ensure an appropriate basis for the transfer.
Clients should be aware that privacy and data-protection regimes vary between countries.
11. Data Retention
Personal data will not be retained longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to legitimate legal, tax, accounting and business-record requirements.
Retention periods may vary according to:
the type of information;

We recognise that clients should have an accessible mechanism for raising concerns and receiving a fair response.
2. Our Approach
Complaints will be considered:
fairly;
objectively;
respectfully;
confidentially where appropriate; and
without unlawful discrimination.
Raising a genuine complaint will not result in a client receiving less favourable treatment.
3. Informal Resolution
Where appropriate, clients are encouraged initially to raise a concern informally.
Many misunderstandings or service issues can be resolved quickly without a formal complaint.
Informal concerns can be sent to:
4. Formal Complaint
A client who wishes to make a formal complaint should send it in writing to:
The subject line should preferably state:
Formal Complaint
The complaint should include, where possible:

a description of the issue;
relevant dates;
relevant correspondence or documents;

The Huntbridge Consultancy aims to acknowledge a formal complaint within five working days.
Acknowledgement does not mean that the complaint has been accepted or upheld.
6. Investigation
The complaint will be reviewed objectively.
We may ask the complainant for additional information where necessary.
Relevant documents and communications may be reviewed.
7. Response Times
The Huntbridge Consultancy aims to issue a substantive written response within 20 working days of receipt of the complaint.
Where the complaint is complex or additional information is required, more time may be necessary.
In that event, the complainant should be informed that the investigation remains ongoing.
8. Possible Outcomes
Depending upon the circumstances, the response may include:
an explanation;
an apology;
correction of an error;
provision or repetition of part of a service;
a refund or partial refund where appropriate;
changes to internal procedures; or
rejection of the complaint with reasons.
Any remedy will depend upon the facts, contractual terms and applicable law.
9. Complaints Concerning Admissions Decisions
The Huntbridge Consultancy does not control decisions made by independent educational institutions.
Accordingly, we cannot overturn:
an admissions rejection;

another institutional decision.
Where appropriate, The Huntbridge Consultancy may assist the client in identifying an institution’s relevant complaints or appeals process.
10. Complaints About Third-Party Providers
Where a client has contracted directly with an independent provider introduced by The Huntbridge Consultancy, complaints about that provider’s service should ordinarily be directed to the provider.
Where appropriate, Huntbridge may assist with communication.
This does not exclude liability which The Huntbridge Consultancy itself has under applicable law.
11. Abusive or Unreasonable Communications
The Huntbridge Consultancy will consider complaints even where it disagrees with the complainant.
However, Huntbridge may restrict communications which become:
threatening;
abusive;
discriminatory;
harassing;
persistently repetitive without new information; or
otherwise manifestly unreasonable.
Any such restriction will not prevent legitimate substantive issues from being considered.

The most recent version will state the date on which it was updated.
2. Severability
If any provision is found by a competent court or authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be treated as modified or severed to the minimum extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
3. No Waiver
Failure by The Huntbridge Consultancy to enforce a contractual right on one occasion will not automatically constitute a waiver of that right on another occasion.
4. Entire Agreement
These Terms together with any applicable:
